Every client’s tax documents, collected and checked for you

Early access to an AI agent for CPA firms. It builds each client’s checklist from last year’s return, chases missing documents by text and email, and reads every upload, so your staff can spend the season preparing returns.

Staff time goes to chasing documents while returns wait.

Every client needs a different list. W-2s, 1099s, K-1s, 1098 mortgage forms, brokerage statements, charity receipts and childcare costs all vary by client and change from last year.

W-2s and most 1099s reach clients by January 31, but K-1s often arrive in March or later. Clients send photos, wrong years and partial statements, and staff ask again for the same missing form by email, text and phone.

A return can’t be finished until the last document arrives, so work piles up near April 15 and clients end up on extensions.

A checklist for every client, built from last year’s return

The agent reads last year’s return and documents, lists what each client should send this year, and keeps the list current as files arrive.

How Docsready compares with how firms collect today
